Subaru Sumeragi is the 13th head of the Sumeragi Clan and a most powerful onmyouji. Subaru is hired to exorcise a construction site, but his employer mysteriously died. The only suspect is a man who repeatedly walks away from situations in which he should have died. Then Subaru meets a young woman intent upon cursing the man, saying that he killed her brother. Subaru must figure out how his employer died and fight the evil spirits that are protecting the man with the help of his friend and twin sister, Seishirou Sakurazuka and Hokuto Sumeragi.

Subaru is powerful onmyouji, and 13th head of the famous Sumeragi clan. His new job takes him to construction site where people are dying in mysterious accidents, each death prolonging the end of construction. Kazami Aso, whose brother was one of the victims, and Detective Yamakawa are suspicious of Shinji Nagumo, executive chairman of the MCC Corperation. When they get too close to true it's up for Subaru to rescue them, and Seishiro to rescue Subaru.

There is a serial killer on the loose in Tokyo's subways, killing woman after woman. Subaru Sumeragi witnesses one such murder and becomes involved in the investigation where he meets a woman who can see events through touching objects. When the woman becomes the serial killers next victim and it is up to Subaru to save her. However, it is not long before the killer turns his attentions onto the onmyouji and Seishirou Sakurazuka must come rescue him instead.
